When bearings go dry they make a “Roaring” noise which you can hear in this video. Definitely freehub bearings. I’ve done 3 methods to lubing these, 1st, drip in oil into the freehub past the seals, (temporary fix to reduce noise))2, replace freehub, and 3, take apart new freehub and lube it with good lubricant taking out the scant amount of cheap stuff used.
